Fashion brands are becoming more and more innovative in developing newer ways to maximise their brand potential, an example of this is Armani.
Fashion brand Armani has opened a luxurious hotel in the world’s tallest building in Burj Khalifa in Dubai. Taking over ten levels of the super skyscraper, the hotel has been fitted out with only finest materials, including green marble from Brazil, handmade Florentine leather, and Japanese tatami on the floors. In addition, there’s an Armani florist, an Armani chocolate shop, and an Armani nightclub situated within the building and even the staff are covered head to toe in Armani.
A night of luxury at this hotel costs £400 and upwards, and according to the fashion giants this is just the start, the next venue due to open will be situated in Milan.
Are fashion brands not making enough revenue from just selling fashion? Or is this a new direction which brands are developing into?
